He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 2007, remembered by peers and teachers alike for his academic excellence and kindhearted nature. Driven by a passion for design and technology, he went on to earn an associate’s degree in computer drafting from Pittsburgh Technical Institute (P.T.I.).
A Career Built on Precision and Passion
Michael spent a decade working as a computer draftsman at Elliott, where he was admired for his creativity, attention to detail, and innovative problem-solving skills. His work was not only technically exceptional but also inspired those around him. He brought passion and pride to every project and formed meaningful professional relationships that lasted beyond the workplace.
A Spirit of Adventure and Determination
Despite facing significant physical challenges, Michael lived with a boundless sense of adventure. In his youth, he enjoyed dirt biking and quad riding, experiences that defined his love for the outdoors and thrill-seeking nature. When circumstances changed, Michael’s adventurous heart remained unchanged—he engineered ways to continue exploring by modifying his wheelchair and embracing electric scooters and go-karts. His adaptability and joy for life were truly inspiring.
